Hi all,
I have a big house which needs a thorough clean room by room. I want the house spotless by xmas. I have grubby upvc window frames thanks to my kids, and I would like to know what is the best and powerful substance you can buy to clean them to make them gleam. I'll appreciate your replies. Thanks, Freda.

When we had ours installed, the installer said that the best thing to clean the UPVC frames is WD40.0

dont normally look in this forum(usually hours a day in old style ) but i find a product called STARDROPS to be the best cleaner, it`s an all purpose cleaner that comes in a 500ml blottle(looks a bit like washing up liquid) can be used neat or diluted( a little goes a very long way) and the best bit is that it only costs approx 58p !!!:money:
hope this helpsGoing it alone and feeling the pinch

Mer car polish. We get scuffs from shoes on the bottom part of the door frame. Mer gets it off every time. Alternatively find a uPVC window manufacturer, they will have a few products. Our fitter left a bottle of cleaner which is used as a final polish - it's some sort of solvent and does the job very well.0

CIF (previously known as Jif). Cleans without scratching.
I used to work for a nice uPVC window company and it's what they used.0 -
I agree cif (jif) is the best put abit on a clothe and rub it in then wipe off with another clothe or there is a product called elbow grease usually found in the pound shop or yorkshire trading company it's got lemon in it and works wonder's just spray on leave for about 5 minutes then wipe off...get's rid of allsorts of muck...happy holidays or should I say happy cleaning...:D
Pls be nice to all MSer's
There's no such thing as a stupid question, and even if you disagree courtesy helps.
