Environmentally friendly banks
Having watched David Attenborough's latest film, I'm wanting to switch away from HSBC (who are finding fossil fuel companies) to a more environmentally friendly bank.
Can anyone recommend any eco-friendly banks to switch to please?
How do you know if a bank is genuinely ethical?

This is what Google says
- Triodos. Leading the ethical bank pack by a country mile is Triodos. ...
- Ecology Building Society. Ecology is another truly green financier. ...
- Nationwide. It's very important not to make the perfect the enemy of the good when it comes to looking for ethical bank accounts. ...
- The Co-Op Bank. ...
- Monzo and Starling.
- I am with the Nationwide, because its a good bank. Everything is online, as I don't have a branch within 5 miles. But that is the case for most banks these days.

It's a daft title for a forum when, say, something like 'Gardening and Smallholding' was available. What they really want is the green and 'effical forum, because we gardeners aren't always 'effical, and some of us aren't so green either!https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/categories/green-ethical-moneysaving
