Dormant companies have directors. All companies have directors.78daniel said:I have clicked on your first link ,
on the filing history , it does state dormant company although there was a director on the 7/11/2019
on the overview, shows as an active company in London
the company no. for both are the same.
vendor has been told by his solicitor the agents for d of n have give him details of sale to CEFN
The only difference is that dormant companies don't trade. This one has never traded.
Active simply means that they are extant - they have not been dissolved.
Cefn Estates have no assets on their balance sheet, nor have they ever had.
Nor were they called Cefn Estates until 2011 - so if the sale was "many years ago", it was not to this company.
(BTW, Cefn isn't an acronym, so doesn't need fully capitalising - it's a word. It's Welsh for a ridge.)
If the freehold has been sold in the last few decades, then it will be registered at the Land Registry. Who does the entry there show as owner?1 -
