Removals and packing service

Hi all
I have some quotes for removals to include packing, the quotes range from £3,300 to £5,800. The house is 5 bedrooms with a very full garage (though organised on shelves), full shed and utility room/pantry. The quotes range from 3 people to work over 2 days to 5 people working over 4 days.
Could anyone give me a realistic idea of how long it would take to pack and how many people would be needed? I don't want to take one of the cheaper quotes and find they are rushing or wanting to charge more on the day.
Thanks

They will book in to pack, usually the day before, although I did have to do it 3-4 days ahead once as they were busy and it fell over a weekend. Think I moved on the Monday or Tuesday.

The stuff you need like beds, and the big stuff that won't need to be packed individually in boxes will prob be left until the morning of the move. They usually arrive around 8am.

Anything you need, keep it very separate or it'll be packed!

I once moved from a 4 storey 4 bedroom house and they didn't need longer than that. Didn't need to take white goods though as integrated.

Never more than 3-4 people (for me).

Make sure you agree a fixed price, not per hour or anything.

Perfect thank you. Yes the ones I want to go with have said 3 people over 2 days so fingers crossed it should be OK.

    What hazyjo said.
I've done all sorts of house moves from totally amateur, every family's friends car/van to the full professional pack and move service and I'd never go back. They'll be blisteringly efficient.
In terms of hassle, time wasted, blood pressure, they're the M6 Toll Road of the moving process. As in you spend the money and appreciate the ease it provides.
