Given warm homes discount can I now move to a cheaper supplier and take the credit with me??

The credit cannot be transferred to another provider, you would have to apply for it again at your new provider.0

But that doesn't stop the credit balance being returned when the OP changes supplier, just as with any credit balance.
Reapplying next season is not what the OP was asking. No free lunch, and no free laptop

Uuum, I’m still confused0

if you change supplier and there is credit on your account then it should be returned to you when the final bill is made up. It wont be transferred to you new supplier, it will credited to either your bank account or as a cheque.Never under estimate the power of stupid people in large numbers2

Sorry its my mistake i misread as you was asking solely about the discount and not the account balance, as others state the balance would be refunded to you.kazzyb123 said:Uuum, I’m still confused

OP, as soon as the WHD is on your account, it's yours, you don't have to stay with the supplier for x days to retain it.
But you will need to reapply should you change suppliers. No free lunch, and no free laptop
