Morning all, my it's cold this morning, but I mustn't complain as the sun is shining.Looks like we are closing our borders tomorrow to most of you Engelanders especially from up north, so if you need to come to see me I'll have to sneak you in
Personally I wouldn't want to come here anyway as our numbers have stabilised, but are not dropping yet. Just a thought ........... will you ostracise me from the lockdown bench now ?
If it warms up a bit I will hit the garden and fill up the green waste bins again, if not I have a few things to do sewing wise, including my lap tray which has it's lost it's umph, so I need to pad it out again. I have seen on u tube on how to make a B doll dress from socks, so being MSE, I have a couple of pairs which I never worn and now Barbie has a new sock dress with a penguin on the front, Yay ! It is was so easy and quick to do that I can see a lot more "designer" dresses being made that way in the future.Tea tonight will be a cheese burger, the burger and buns from the freezer as I'm trying to make some room in there for the next shop delivery on Tues because I have ordered a few items for Xmas time ( if they arrive ). I am hoping that at least Dad will be able to come for the day.Right more coffee first before I do something, I need a kick up the rear end just to start my dayTake care all, stay safe and well..... and sane on the lockdown bench.nan xxFailure is simply the opportunity to begin again, but this time more intelligently11 -
Morning all,
Today is my father's anniversary......26 years and I still miss him!
Brighter today than it has been, although it is overcast but not very cold, OH didn't wake until after 10 oclock, he is still upstairs, getting slower by the day! I think that we will have scrambled egg for breakfast.....I seem to eat eggs every day, which I enjoy.
We have a total on visitors here, as cases of Covid are increasing over the whole island. I am going back to surgeon this afternoon for check up, DD2 is taking me, which is allowed as it's a medical appointment, hopefully he will allow me to drive again, which will give me some element of independence.
Off to make the breakfast, love to all, stay safe.

Just popping back to say that my DGDs have not had their athleticism passed down from me! I used to dread the sports standards day coming round at school as I brought up the rear in almost everything! One year I had a broken arm, which was in pot from shoulder to wrist, and the sports teacher was heard to comment what great lengths I had gone to to avoid taking part that year! I did enjoy walking though until my legs decided that they didn't and I miss it.
The Bolognese Bake is ready for collection and the kitchen has been cleaned. Now I am time wasting before I start on the bathroom. It looks beautiful outside with blue blue sky and the sun shining but I bet it's colder than it looks. The green wheelie is due for emptying tomorrow and I should really be out cutting more stuff back in the front garden as there is still a bit of room left in it. Maybe after lunch, or maybe not!
Hope all goes well for Steve and MMarie with their hospital appointments and sorry we won't be able to share Nan's lockdown bench with her any more x"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"12
