Living Abroad and Debt

Hello, I am not sure if this is the right thread so I would be grateful if you could point me in the right direction if it isn't.
I am a UK national. I have debts which I am paying off. I live abroad (EU).
My parents live in the UK and I used to live with them but I do not any more. I do not have an address in the UK - if I'm back in the country, I stay with them.
It seems wrong that my correspondence is sent to my parents' house so I want to ensure that, if anything happened, I wouldn't get CCJs, debt collectors, etc. going to my parents' house. Could you advise me as to how I would stop this?
Yes, I can update the various debtors with my new address and that's fine but currently I'm on the electoral roll at my parents house. Can I remove myself permanently so that anyone attempting to claim money from me is obliged to contact me at my EU address?
I hope that makes sense. Thanks!

Why are you on the ER if you no longer reside in the UK?
You can update your address to an overseas address but that won’t make the debts go away or make you believe they won’t chase you as you don’t live in the country anymore.0 -
If your debts are credit cards or an overdraft (or a loan or HP agreement).you'll see usually as the first clause of terms and conditions that you be a UK resident.
When you contact them to tell them you've been living abroad they'll simply recall the debt, which will become immediately repayable.
