Park Watch - One Stop Shop, Perry Barr : Not Parked Wholly Within Bay

Hi! I visited One-Stop Shopping Centre on 12th Oct 2020 and parked slightly out of bay as the car next to me was close to the edge and I wanted to leave adequate space to be able to get out and to avoid dents on my car when the other passenger opened their doors! It was early morning time(non-peak time) and I was only going to be 5 mins picking up my item click and collect, so thought it's ok to leave it slightly out of bay. I know that's no valid excuse for parking out of bay but ....
To my dismay the shops was having some issues with their terminals so it took slightly longer for them to get my item (may around 10 mins max). However, to my dismay when I came out, there was a PCN on my windscreen.
Having looked at the outrageous fine amount, I sent them an email asking evidence and send pictures of their signage (which they have responded to with the picture of my car out of bay). They have said in their response that they are not obligated to send pictures of any of the signage that exists at their site. Just need some advise on what to do next please.

Read the newbies FAQ sticky thread near the top of the forum
Follow the correct procedures , especially plan A
As mentioned , they have no obligation to provide pictures of signage , plus the daily default tariff of say £100 or less has been that way for nearly a decade
Plenty of bad reviews on Tripadvisor

Apologies for this...but I'm a newbie to all this! I had actually sent out the email before I checked this forum. So now that I have received a response but with no pictures of signage (but a picture of the car parked over the lines), do I just wait until day 26 to send in the appeal (blue template)?0

Yes , and use the intervening time to try for a landowner or retail park management cancellation , plan A
Plan A beats plan B every time4 -

Obviously. Doesn't that tell you that they have received too many complaints - even more reason to pile on more!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
