As a financial model ,giving 3% on credit balances is doomed to failure. With talk of negative base rates, UNLESS they increase their tariffs, then they will be the next domino to fall!!
I believe this was discussed recently elsewhere - the Financial Services authorities may take an interest in such Utility Cos. as they are effectively becoming deposit takers ,so would potentially come under banking rules.0 -
