Hi all, I’m with Tonik for my energy and found out, by an email reportedly from Scottish Power, that it’s no longer trading. I checked and this is correct. However the email is asking me to click links to give my details including direct debit information. Surely they have all this? I get so many phishing emails these days it’s hard to know what’s genuine and what’s not. I tried phoning Scottish Power but their automated phone line only allows users who have an existing account. Any one have any ideas of finding out if this is genuine? Thanks, mark

It's probably a scam. I would wait until you get something in the post welcoming you to Scottish Power and giving you an account number. The comments I post are my personal opinion. While I try to check everything is correct before posting, I can and do make mistakes, so always try to check official information sources before relying on my posts.0
