No help to you but I ( in my opinion ) found Currys PC Group to be Dreadful when things go wrong and i will never buy from them again .
The way I eventually resolved my issue was to contact the MD of the company who made the item ( A range cooker in my case) and explained my tail of woe and fob offs from the Currys Group.
This worked for me.
