How soon can us Tonik customers move away from Scottish Power?

Probably something many of us want to do i would imagine?
I see no mention of it here and i contacted Scottish Power directly over 2 things - Tonik messing up my bill but also asking when i can move on.
They gave me the politicians 'answer'. "Rest assured your energy supply will continue" ... yeah i didn't ask about that. So basically they never got round to answering the question directly.
I don't want to end up making the whole moving here, there & everywhere process worse and confusing bills as i already believe Tonik are overcharging me but at the same time i want to be on a decent tariff.

As soon as you have confirmation from SP that your account is set up ,you can start a switch. If you try earlier it will probably fail as the "system" will think a switch is still in progress. Just make sure you have readings from the day Tonik ceased and at least monthly after that.0

Same boat here. Filled out the form on Scottish powers website, not even an acknowledgement email yet.
Mean time, deemed rate just as we get into cold seasonPeter
Debt free - finally finished paying off £20k + Interest.0 -
I was told we would remain on our tonik tariff for six mths but she didn’t seem too sure so we will have to wait and see I have billing issues to sort and a meter change that wasn’t regiesterd before I can jump ship incideny Scottish power are offering £150 for new customers via Quidco but we wouldn’t get this0

I've been with Tonik before and never had an issue that time round and was never in debit.
This time however I have fluctuated from being wildly in credit and in debit to £100s. I think I was in credit to £300 at one point, then debit to £600. They acknowledged some issue with the system and said this would be sorted. It seemed to sort itself out a while but then the last time I looked I was debit £150. My monthly is £80. Interestingly since they've gone under the conversations we've had via Twitter have disappeared, however as I don't delete emails they're still there where they acknowledged some issue, though this was a few months ago.0 -
