I definitely prefer a share of freehold than being held ransom by a freeholder 😅

Some interesting plumbing!
To begin with I thought some of the waste pipes were flowing up-hill. But I guess they're some kind of vent pipes into the soil stack. Maybe find out what they're connected to - I'd imagine you could get some very nasty smells, if there's a 'back draught', even more so if a bird nests on top of the soil stack vent.
