Afternoon all,Just had home made lentil & bacon soup and the last crust of hm bread, very nice too. Also taken some meals out that I made last month for tea, we are on a penny pinching exercise as the car has to go in to have a job done, about £1000I knew I should have gone for a walk this morning, it was nice then but keeps drizzling now.I cleaned the oven yesterday, ooh it's all sparkly now, still took me a while though, even with the stuff you pour in a bag & put your trays in. DS asked why I didnt get one of the oven cleaning firms in, ermm because I've saved about 70 quid by doing it myself!TA, as you say that time has gone so fast. Enjoy your memories with DD and girls. We are in Tier 2 like you, but our pubs etc have only been back open just over a week since July, so they would have been devastated if they'd had to shut again. We can now meet outside/garden. I'd like to see my brothers soon, only seen DB1 once, DB twice since March.Bella, hope they find the right ABs soon.I've cleared 1 hot spot this morning, slowly encouraging myself - it's the thought of my hairdresser coming on Friday that's done itBye for now x:heartsmil 'A woman is like a teabag: You never know her strength until you drop her in hot water'. Afternoon everyone
Just been having a catch up and a cuppa. Rained most of today so the kids were getting restless by home time. I'm going to give the bathroom a quick clean before tea and then the towels can go in with the washing tonight and I have little one's toys to tidy into her new storage unit. It was quite difficult to build as the instructions were terrible! I gave up on them in the end and just made it by guesswork. It does look really nice though and fits perfectly under the coat hooks.
I made chicken curry last night and have a portion left for today -. so nice and easy
TA - hope you enjoy your meal tonight with DD and your granddaughters. Our little one can say 'Ganny' now - it's so lovely8 -
