SMT recent performance

csgohan4 said:what's been happening to the SMT price, is it because Tesla is currently going down as well? I'm going to fill my boots soon though, still a good active fund in the long run. Shame ATT is going down as well, I've got some in that too. Most likely. SMT tends to track it though much more restrained, in the swings Tesla is after all only something like 10-15% (depending) of SMT's value.Tesla is looking good value too. Maybe the next big bump is 3 months off, Q4.I dont know much about ATT except its a pretty old company, didnt have a great reputation when i worked in telcos 1990-2010 and AFAIK hasn't dont anything much since then and its recent share price isn't exactly stellar.I'd be inclined to sell it and swap for either of Tesla or SMT or Apple or BG Global Discovery depending if you want shares or a pooled investment.0

, I prefer this over Polar tech trust, but personal preference. Made a profit on polar though when I sold too.

Oh well, in case you decide to go for AT&T here's a stock analysis on it I came across this morning

Expect SMT to jump today on account of the Tesla S&P inclusion.

You’re not the proud owner of Sea_Shell’s old crystal ball by any chance are you.

Nope. Its just basic maths. As is shown by them being down today
so that shows you how good my predictive powers are LOL.
Though, IMO its crazy its not up. Nice arbitrage possibility there.Who is Sea_Shell?0 -
Sea_Shell is another soothsayer that frequents this forum.
Foretelling future events should be left to those with the gift such as myself. Why only last week I sold my holding in LTI at £1200.

jscol said:Totally agree. Was just trying to be clever. I knew they'd reduced their Tesla holding (didn't know exact proportion.)
I had no particular need to bank profits. Don't feel so clever know but it does help me learn.1
