Does anyone know how I establish the wattage of my storage heaters.
They were installed around 2001 and they are different size dimplex.
I want to establish running costs.
Thanks in advance.

Look on the rating plate or search for the model number then find the version with the same dimensions.Bear in mind that the figures will be of limited use because your usage will depend on whether you like it temperate or tropical and whether there's a Beast From The East.0

Thanks. I've looked and can't see info on the heater itself.
May ask housing what they are.
Just helps to know the cost. I'm more a lowish heat person, forget the tropics!!!0 -
Hi,you can usually tell by width of heater.Taken from Dimplex data:1.7kw = 565mm2.55kw = 793mm3.4kw = 1021mm.Do a search for heaters of the various kw sizes, as sizes may vary slightly depending on style.3

The rating plate is usually near the cable entry point, so may be underneath and not easily visible. Frugal's helpful guide will be close enough: sizes are pretty much standard due to the bricks. No free lunch, and no free laptop2
