why will it cost £25 per box.
Perhaps because that's what Now TV sells its dongles for:
    Just £24.99

Well if people are silly enough to expect the retailers website to be cheapest and not shop around.

They are always on offer somewhere. (online or supermarkets mainly but others do occur).

Discovered this myself last night.  Filled in the online complaint form thereby bypassing live chat and received a code for a free stick direct from Customer Services Rep.  The Rep said emails had been sent to all customers prior to discontinuation but I never received one.  I think you get a free stick if the box was the only device registered otherwise you have to pay.   Does anyone know if the electric adaptor can be used on anything else or does it go in the bin along with the box?

My AppleTV has a NowTV app.
I got the movies free for a month, but I went on the other day and couldn't find anything I wanted to watch (I decided to have a look at Rocketman, the Elton John bio, but it was awful! :-) )

Where is the link for the complaints form?
    Cannot seem to find it.

    Thanks

We've just watched Yesterday and it was better than expected.

  • I had the same issue. I have contacted NowTV who initially offered me a £10 credit off a new device (I haven't bought any passes from them for several years). When I explained that they provide my phone/broadband they offered a £15 credit. I was never happy with the performance of the NowTV box so I have bought an Amazon Fire Stick for £19.99 from Currys.

This was poorly announced and forced upon white box owners. I would not expect a device to become obsolete in less than five years (and otherwise would be fully functional). Could Sale of Goods Act 1978 be applied in this instance?

No SOG does not exist and lifespan of a modern electrical product like tv is not enshrined in law .

As per terms and conditions @ https://www.nowtv.com/terms - "Certain services or content may not be available on all devices and we continually review device support and as new operating systems appear we may stop supporting older versions. This means that to continue using the service you may need to update the software on your device from time to time. As detailed further in these Terms of Use you should ensure that any device you use to access the service is compatible with the service."
