Morning all.
Glad the wedding went well yesterday Bella. It will all make a good story in a few years time,
.
Poor little Sparkle, TA. The worst thing about having pets is the vicarious sufferjng you have to go through.
You too Ruby, hope pup is better today.
Nothing exciting happening here, apart from getting witnesses to ..er...witness my signature on my new Will. What a business it has been getting that set up. It's as simple as I can make it but seems to have taken ages and cost a gutwrenching amount of money. Still, at least I have done my best to make it easy for my family when I shuffle off the mortal coil.
Is there any MoneySaving content to my post? Probably not. Try this tip. Go to a friend for coffee, it saves your electricity in not boiling your own kettle.
I bet the forum monitors wait with baited breath for my wise advice.

Morning everyone, it's just started drizzling after a lovely day yesterday. DH and I went for a long walk in the afternoon, stopping off at the farm shop for an ice cream on the way back. We had our meal on the late side as both DS were out until 6, we had 2 of the prepared joints in a foil tray, one gammon, one turkey, just enough for the 4 of us, & sticky toffee pud for after. It's hm lasagne on the meal plan for tonight but I need to check what's coming in the delivery on Wed. to continue my plan for the week. Last week I got one of those oven cleaning kits so that's on the agenda today, and I need to set the bread machine going, only a third of a loaf left.No other news
ooh apart from I'm having my hair cut on Friday after 6 months! There'll be plenty sweeping up to do after , that's for sure.
Bella, very glad to hear you had a lovely day for the wedding ,many congrats to the newlyweds. Hope other DD is making progress.Have a good day xx:heartsmil 'A woman is like a teabag: You never know her strength until you drop her in hot water'. (Eleanor Roosevelt)12 -
Morning all, we have the rain again and it's blummin cold !I slept well last night but I'm still tired, obviously didn't sleep as well as I needed. I will just potter around today and/ or glue myself to the sofa. The DW needs emptying and the bins need going out ready for tomorrow and that's all. I do have some web wandering to do though.Tea will be something quick and easy.We had a phone call last night to say that our DNeice was in hospital with a heart attack, she's 47. They took her to the heart hospital in Cardiff but hopefully they will be bringing her to a hospital closer to home and probably put in stents. Unhappily we are all unable to visit, even her DH and children.I haven't had my haircut since Dec last year and the lockdown of my hairdresser pushed me into taking the bull by the horns, so I'm still growing it and even himself has now noticed how long it is. Must have saved myself a fortune on haircuts too, wish I'd thought of putting the cash in a jar so that I could actually see how much.Lots of talk about boilers this morning, we have put ours on for a practise run and it's fine. It's the old type and we've had it over 30 years, it only failed once and Mr Fix It gave it a clean and off it went again. I want to keep it as long as possible because "if it ain't broke don't fix" is my way of thinking.Bella I'm happy the wedding went off without a hitch yesterday and a lovely day was had by all.Hugs to all the poorly ones, the families and pets.Take care all, stay safe and wellnan xxFailure is simply the opportunity to begin again, but this time more intelligently11

Old boiler out and new boiler in though not working yet. Blokes were here by 8.15a.m and don't want tea or coffee, they're just working through until lunch time. The new boiler is much smaller than the old one. The one being replaced is only 10 years old though it was never really brilliant so I couldn't risk it for another winter.Whilst everyone sounds busy I'm hanging around as the men work. I took their temperatures when they arrived, they are fully masked up and they keep the kitchen window open and door closed. I'll go in later to do DM's lunch and they'll go down to the van for theirs. It's because of my MSE ways that the new boiler can be afforded!9

If it ain't broke, don't mend it! Us to a T here Chez Nous. Sorry the arbour resembles a harbour at the moment, due to rain, lots of it. Managed to pick the tomatoes and runner beans, so now I am top and tailing and freezing the beans. The ripe cherry tomatoes are for lunch and the green/unripe ones, well I haven't yet decided what to do with themReceived a whatsapp photo of both my girls (young women really) with the GD now 8 weeks old. She is growing fast, well they do, don't they.Boiler fired up, after 38 years it is an original. Come to think of it most things in the house are "original", does that mean "needs modernising" in esate agent speak? I'll let you know, as we have one coming this week. After deliberating for nearly five years of when rather than if we move nearer the family, we are biting the bullet.Hope everyone and loved ones are well9
