Buying a car

I am going to buy a car within the next few weeks, possibly new but preferably nearly new. Has anyone got tips on how to get the best deal from a dealer.

    Lots of useful advice on car buying on Honest John's website. HJ is a car dealer & Daily Telegraph motoring columnist, and his website is widely respected and referred to.

    My advice would be to do your research carefully, on possible car makes, models, prices, before you visit. There's so much choice it's helpful to narrow it down a lot. Again, Honest John's website can help you - there are comments on most cars here
