Gambling nearly broke me(and my finances)

2 Posts

I’ve suffered with gambling addiction for years with long periods of not gambling at all and equally long periods of gambling a lot! Early 2018 I had a particularly bad binge and clocked up extra £30k debt almost overnight, when I received my credit card statements the following month I sobbed! It was the most awful feeling of hopelessness. After a few weeks / months of feeling this way I decided this had to be the last time and I had to fix myself. I signed up to Gamstop and vowed to stop gambling and get completely out of debt.....2.5 years later things are thankfully drastically different
