Seems a bit odd you are in your mid forties , a relatively OK pension % contribution from your employer and recently you have been putting extra in . However you only have about £100K in it . What happened in the previous 20 years ?
Are you aware that £100K only gives around £3kpa in retirement income ?0 -
I didn’t always live here. I didn’t always have the employer who contributed that much. But I also feel it’s an irrelevant question what happened in the previous 20 years, the important thing is what I am planning to do going forward. I am aware that 100k doesn’t give me much but I have 20 more years to increase that pot.Albermarle said:Seems a bit odd you are in your mid forties , a relatively OK pension % contribution from your employer and recently you have been putting extra in .
