Smart TV and Wi-fi

Hi
I just moved house and it has no wi-fi or internet. I have bought a Smart TV and I am looking for the cheapest way to get wi-fi. I don't want an expensive monthly contract as I will only be in the house about 8-10 days a month. I have access to BT wi-fi hotspots but I am not sure if this will help me at all.
Thanks

Do you have a contract mobile phone? How much a month for an unlimited data (or sufficient data for your needs)? What is the 4g signal like inside the new house? Can you use your phone as a wifi hotspot?

Not much difference in what you'd pay between all the choices....Best bet, IMO, is a cheap rolling monthly contract for home broadband.Drinking Rum before 10am makes you

Use your mobile as a wifi hotspot, upgrading your plan if you need to.How long is this situation going to last until you can get internet installed at the house?1

Situation will last indefinatily. I have BT internet at my home and mobile contract with o2. Rolling monthly contract is about £18 per month and I will only be there about 8 days per calendar month, 10 maximum. Just looking wifi or whatever for smart TV and Alexa.0

See if there is any BT-WiFi hotspot accessible from the property. (e.g. a neighbour with BT broadband and the hotspot enabled). Failing that, use your mobile as a hotspot when you're there (if you have sufficient data and can get a decent data connection in the house).
Beyond that you'd need fixed line broadband contract so go for the cheapest you can get.1
