Whoever your new bank are, they are in the same boat as all of the other providers. They can only show your payments once the retailer has told them about your purchases. Whilst this might be nearly all, or even all, you have no guarantee that it will always be all. Neither the bank nor the retailer nor the network(s) that link them, nor the power companies powering the various devices involved can give such a guarantee.datlex said:Changing banks forced on me by M&S closing their accounts has resolved the issue. Account I have now notifies when payments are made. Thus far nothing unexpected, It does show as pending but that is fine. M&S didn't show at all.1 -

Well since you are not me and have not seen my bank accounts on notifications you actually don't know anything. My personal experience is first bank neither notified nor showed the contactless in advance of them being paid. New shows straight away.colsten said:

Then saved up and bought a property. Current aim is to pay off my mortgage as early as possible. Currently over paying every month. Mortgage due to be paid off in 2036 hoping to get it paid off much earlier. Set up my own bespoke spreadsheet to manage my money.0 -

No bank can show purchases unless the retailers have told them. It's not hard to understand.3
