I've always used a site that used to be called softwaregeeks but now is unitysoft. They recycle genuine licences from the stickers on hardware, I've bought at least 20 licences for Windows and office from them over 10 years and never had a problem:

So did I, last year. I had to use pre-assigned user credentials. Digging around, I found it was an Academic Licence held by a school in the USA no doubt for several hundred users. After 6 months or so I got a warning from Microsoft that all access would be terminated after 30 days and I should download any OneDrive material or lose it. It duly stopped working. I then bought a legitimate Office 365 Family subscription. Another worry is that somewhere there is a legitimate Account Administrator with a lot of control over user accounts.Petriix said:I bought a licence key on Ebay for about £3. It worked fine and the software is all still running fine after 4 months. As far as I can tell they can't 'pull the licence' on your installed software, but it almost certainly wouldn't work again if you needed to reinstall it later for any reason.
No doubt the dodgy vendor got too greedy and sold too many usernames.0
