In my mid 20s i was diagnosed with Cervical Spondylosis i am now 61 and over the years the condition has worsened as to be expected .I have on certain occasions visited my GP,and I have had acupuncture and cortisone injections.I did ask to see a physiotherapist and was very disappointed as all she was interested in was why had i gone at this time ,What had brought me there at that point ,i felt like she was interrogating me .I have tried managing my condition with massage but due to having to reduce my working hours i can not afford it anymore . I am a very overweight lady my BMI is 52 i know i should reduce my weight and i am trying .I am type 2 diabetic also .I was talking to a friend lately and telling her how it gets me down constant pain she advised me to put in a claim for PIP i wouldn't know where to start .Any help would be greatly appreciated yjank you

In the next cubicle one day was a gentleman who had clearly suffered a serious injury: he was keen to get back to winter sports with no reduction in skill or mobility. Physio was trying to let him down gently ...
So I'd see it as a valid question: why now? "Because the pain is getting me down now and I want to know if things can be improved" would be a valid response.Signature removed for peace of mind1 -
Perhaps i took her wrong but it didn't feel like that, I did say to her i didn't like the way the questions were going, I felt like i was being quizzed as to if i was going to make a claim. There was no what are you hoping to get out of this ,it was a relentless why now. It did put me off going back0
