How long must you leave Octopus Energy for to return as a new Customer

Yes, need to have ceased being a Octopus customer longer than 12 Months to get another referral payment at same postal address

So If somone was going back to Octopus after 2 years,would they have the same account,same referral link and on their account and showing the referrals from over 2 years ago and no referral notification on the referrer's account and no email sent to them?

Al_Ross said:Sorry,are you saying you left and came back after 12 months and managed to get a referral payment by using someones link?No I am saying someone left and came back after 12 months used my referral link on returning, I have displayed what is shown on my referral dashboard in answer to "and no referral notification on the referrer's account"Same with Bulb online account seemingly does not get closed, someone can log in at any time to look at statements even though energy account itself has been closed thus when re-join previous infomation that you mention is still shown on the account, exception being I was told of an instance communication between former customer and in this case Octopus caused previous account info to seemingly be wiped, that person told me he rejoined after 12 months and referral dashboard showed new joining date8.3 You will not be eligible to refer customers to us under the referral scheme if:8.3.4 The person you refer has been a customer of Octopus Energy within the last 12 months;
