  • Hi Guys,

Just got back from seeing 27 Dresses and thought I'd give you my thoughts.

Was there in good time but only about a quarter full. Ten minutes in and the fire alarms go off and we were all evacuated. Luckily it was a false alarm and we were allowed back in fairly quickly. My daughter and her friend had left their drinks at their seats and when we got back to the screen found people had decided to take our seats - cheeky or what. Anyway I asked them to move and I think they were a little embarassed and moved immediately but they did take one of the drinks with them!!!

Anyway onto the film. Predicable in that you could figure out the ending within the first ten minutes but still enjoyable with a few lol moments. Easy to watch and I would give it a 6.5 out of 10. Some of the dresses were just hideous and I can not believe that people would actually choose them for their weddings!!!!

A definite chick flick but maybe the subject matter i.e. female besotted with weddings is a bit full on for a first date movie.

Great film for chatting with my daughter after which is something I love to do!!!!

P.S. TOBG tomorrow so my film figures this week are looking good!!!!

  • I went to see 27 Dresses tonight at Odeon Greenwich (thanks Beate for the tickets!) and, as I predicted, I loved it! I went with my husband, who also enjoyed it. Rating for this one is 9/10.

I now have 2 tickets for 27 Dresses for Odeon Greenwich going free for Tuesday 11th March - anyone interested please PM me and I'll send the link.

i saw 27 dresses and really enjoyed it - after about 10 mins we had to evacuate as some vandals had broken some windows and the place had to be checked out - so that added some extra drama to our night
    i'd give it a 7.5 - good lighthearted fun

Saw 27 Dresses yesterday at the Trocadero - much better than I thought it would be, I'd give it 8/10. James Marsden was good, kept on trying to place the other films he was in. I had just seen that made for TV classic ;-) Bella Mafia recently so I thought it was just that, although I thought it seemed a bit obscure, not remembering he was also in X-Men!

Tonight I saw We Are Together, most of the people in my row had tears in their eyes, I found it very touching. To score it - it was enjoyable and I'm glad I saw it, I'd give it 7.5/10.
