Anyone else seen We are Together tonight? I was given a ticket by 5rannoch (thanks a lot!), and I am glad I saw it. It wasn't a "film film", more of a documentary of the lives of orphaned children in South Afrika, who live in a care home called Agape. They sing a lot and they are quite good, which is why they decided to produce a CD to help the care home financially, as there are so many HIV-orphaned children who need shelter and food. One brother dies of Aids, but actually the film was very funny too. I am reluctant to give this a proper rating to compare it with the likes of TOBG or 27 Dresses, but if I have to, I would say 7/10.

I don't care much about the Odeon Panton Street though. It is convenient from work, but it is quite uncomfy and I had to struggle to see around the girl in front to read the subtitles.

I'm really upset, thought I was going to do quite well with film count this week, seen 27 Dresses, had Spiderwick and Cottage lined up for next week, and then I get told I have to work till 7pm next week!

Incidentally which Orphanage competition was it that you won a ticket from?

It was the Myfilms comp, I received the same email as Beate, saying unfortunately all the seats are gone but they had been given some more and to reply if I was still interested, then received the confirmation email tonight.

Went to see 27 dresses last night, thought it was okay nothing to get too excited about, I'd give it a 6.5.

I just logged in to read your post. What is the point of putting No Discussion in the title? At least they were trying to be helpful. You're just trying to be argumentative.

I am going to see The Other Boleyn Girl again tomorrow at Cineworld West India Quay, 6.30pm, together with 2 girlfriends, but the OH does not want to go twice, so, long story short, I have one ticket spare. We are planning to be there for about 6pm because I am not sure how full the screening will become. Please PM me if you would like to see two sisters fight over a madman king.

I hope we get another code for Spiderwick Chronicles, I just received an invitation for The Orphanage on the same day and time, does anyone have the magic knife that splits people without making them bleed? It would be dreadful to arrive to the cinema all bloodied, so... Sweenie Todd:rotfl:

hurm interesting dilemma - both fantasies, one dark (and the promos for it definitely capitalise on Pan's Labyrinth) the other more Narnia-style it would seem
