Morning Campers, I'm a bit late because I had a lie in this morning after a late night. My own fault I ate a jam tart late in the evening which gave me indigestion.I didn't get out into the garden yesterday as the heavens opened as I stepped foot out of the back door, so the filling of bins has been put back till tomorrow, which should be a better day ( or later today if it warms up, it's freezing at the moment, still only 7 degrees ) So instead I sorted through my summer clothes and I've realised that I don't need any more T shirts, thus saving me a few pennies. Normally I would have bought more for holidays this summer, but sadly we haven't been able to get away and now I've swapped to the winter gear. I did find a warm winter coat that had been forgotten and hanging in the overspill wardrobe for a while. I don't remember when it was worn last because it was a bit tight, so I tried it on and it fits better now I've lost a few pounds, so it has been put into the "daily" wardrobe. ( I thought it may need to go to the cs, but no it's a lovely fit now )Today I shall strip the bed and give the bathroom a once over then remake the bed later. I'm giving the Barbie clothes making a rest today and tomorrow, as I've finished the 3 dresses and blinged them up with ribbons, bows and sequinsTea tonight will be a HM curry, made by my own curry chef (aka Mr Fix It) as I finally remembered to take the chicken out of the freezer, I shall just cook the rice.taff we have plenty of outdoor space and did use a couple of tarps during this summer when it was raining and/or windy, but I can't see us all sitting outside on Xmas day to eat our lunch with everyone probably shivering and wearing party hats
Wish I had one of those big heaters now, but it wouldn't get used enough to justify the expense.
Hugs to anyone in need and I hope you all can have a good Saturday.Take care all, stay safe and keep well.nan xxFailure is simply the opportunity to begin again, but this time more intelligently11 -
Morning folks and thanks NMLC. I'm late to the party this morning as I caught the early bus into town. I needed 4 birthday cards (all next w/e!) and then had a wander in Boots to kill the time before the next bus back up. I ended up on the C... gift section and bought a few stocking filler bits and bobs. All on the buy 2 get 1 free offer. I don't really think it's a saving as they are overpriced in the first place but I got a few nice bits which I was pleased with.
The sparkly cat woke me up at silly o'clock and then started clattering around stopping me getting back to sleep. I thought she had got out of that habit so I hope it's not starting all over again. I can foresee a nana nap on the cards this afternoon as I am wilting already.
we had overnight rain but it had stopped by the time I went for the bus and it has turned out quite a pleasant day. Blue sky and a bit of sun but. by heck, it felt chilly. My thicker jacket and ankle boots came out for the first time, I can't do with being cold!
Have a good day one and all and stay safe. ((HUGS)) for all in need of them x"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"10 -
Afternoon everyone
Just had a very nice lunch of bacon, egg, mushrooms, tomatoes and fried bread - haven't had it for ages. I had little one to stay last night, she'd been to nursery all day and was shattered so she was in bed and asleep just after 6. She didn't wake till 8 this morning and then we had a lazy half hour in my bed looking at books. she learnt to ride her little bike this morning, pushing it along with her feet and managed to get on and off it herself too - she was so pleased with herself!
DD picked her up after 10 as it's her day with her daddy and I went down to mam and dad's for a bit and had a cuppa. Poundland then home - spent too much but bought apples for little one for 50p.
This afternoon I have a storage cabinet to build to go in the hallway for the toys that are currently in 2 baskets in the living room.
Hope everyone has a good afternoon.9 -

BELLA I hope all finally goes to plan for the wedding. You've all had to overcome more hurdles than enough this year and DD deserves a wonderful day. Just a shame your other DD can't be there. I hope they soon get her back on her feet again. xx"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"8

ds2 seems to be settling ok. I speak to him everyday.I also have to get another car as a warning light keeps coming on which will cost over £1000 to get fixed at the dealers so looking to part exchange. Found a 4 year old car with less than 10000 miles on the clock so going to see it this week with a view to buying it. They are offering me £1000 for mine part exchange.
