Had a Decision in principle but now found a better rate

Options
Hi
I have had a DIP with Atom bank last week at 1.44% fixed for 5 years. Today they brought out a better rate at 1.34%. Can I ask them to switch me to the new rate or would I have to stop my existing application and start again??

  • Your rate gets locked in at the time of full application so don’t worry they will check this at later stage and amend it for you in application.

A DIP is just a credit check, it is not rate specific.
The rate may change again between now and application.
