Hi
I have had a DIP with Atom bank last week at 1.44% fixed for 5 years. Today they brought out a better rate at 1.34%. Can I ask them to switch me to the new rate or would I have to stop my existing application and start again??

Your rate gets locked in at the time of full application so don’t worry they will check this at later stage and amend it for you in application.0

A DIP is just a credit check, it is not rate specific.
The rate may change again between now and application.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
