Currys Knowhow do not repair tv's,most likely it has been sent to an approved repair compny of theirs to fix it.JVC I believe is a Vestel brand so won't have been sent to them as warranties are bought out.If not received back and working by another 4 weeks, you should push for a new tv.When was it purchased and what is the complaint with your tv?0

It sounds like they tried to source parts an couldn't, that's why its taken so long.
Are they offering you some money off a new TV.0 -

Help
I am having serious problems with Currys Knowhow team. Since August when my laptop was written off I have been waiting for an Evoucher. Numerous phone calls with promises of something being done just has not happened. So here I am at my wits end waiting. Any help appreciated

Having a similar issue with Currys/Team Knowhow. TV is less than a year old and has lost the picture. Took it into the store on 6th October, and it was sent away for a repair. Heard nothing from them, so went back to the store and they confirmed the TV will be written off. The staff in the shop actually told us that they had been featured on Watchdog due to customer service issues, but they couldn't do anything. I have tried ten times to call, longest wait on hold 90 minutes with no anwer. Have returned to the store and again told they cannot do anything, and to expect it to take a couple of months for a voucher, although they don't know the value it would be written off for!
I have been sending them messages on Twitter, all I get is automated responses, with a link to a messenger chat. On this I get standard automated responses, with one exception, but after a couple of messages back and forth, that has now gone silent.

Having major problem with Currys. I have been waiting since September for an Evoucher to the value of £1059 to replace my laptop which they had written off. Phone calls, webchats, e-mails, in store visits, too many to list have been made to no avail. Each time they blatantly lie saying they will issue the voucher then when I don’t receive it the next person I deal with says the voucher has never been issued. When I put a review on Trustpilot Currys responded with ‘you will get the E-voucher when one is available’. I have now sent an e-mail notifying of intention to use the Small Claims court but am concerned this will not be responded to as a previous e-mail to Complaints address has gone unanswered. Any help guidance would be appreciated.0
