Hi all
Looking for suggestions for good hotels in centre of Paris. Ideally near Eiffel tower but at a reasonable price. I'm looking to take the GF for her 30th in Jan.
Thanks

Are you sure you want to be near the Eiffel Tower? I'd prefer to stay nearer the centre, near good transport links. AFAIR the tower was a bit out of things. We stayed in the 6th arrondisement, near the metro and bus stops.0

Eiffel Tower is well located and its easy to get to most places from there, especially the Arc De Triomphe etc.
Lst time we went, we managed to get the Novotel Tour Eiffel through www.priceline.co.uk and paid £70 a night which aint bad for a 4* hotel. 5/6min walk to the metro and 15mins to the Eiffel Tower. Theres also some local shops/supermarket/restaurants nearby.
Alternatively, for something even better located, we have also stayed at the Hotel Kleber is bang on half way between the Eiffel Tower and the Arc De Triomphe. Must smaller place and only 3* and its pricey too though. You basically pay for the location. If you found my comment helpful, please click the 'Thanks' button below :T0 -
I'd recommend doing a search on Venere - really helpful website with lots of good maps/reviews, and reasonable prices too (which you also don't have to pay in advance)
PM me if you want a 4% discount code.
I think it's a good idea to check out this website even if you find hotels cheaper elsewhere, as the descriptions and maps are generally better than other sites in my opinion.
Hope that helps
PS - I'm not connected to this website in any way, and I don't gain anything from this post. I also found the discount code on another forum.0
