I think i could be being scammed, someone has claimed they have sent a payment to me via Barclays with my name, they sent me a screenshot of the payment, whilst the payment has my name on it, it has what appears to be their Barclays account number at the bottom. As i dont know what this should look like in the Barclays app. Now should it show the account its coming from (ie the barclays one) OR the account it is going to

It shows the account details where it's coming from, Once the payment is made there's no way via the app to check where the payment was made to.
If someone was supposed to send you money and it hasn't arrived then, they probably haven't sent it.1 -

The payment is not actually made until the pay now button at the bottom is pressed and, at that time, the details of the payment disappear and are replaced with something like "Your payment has been sent, the payee should receive it within two hours". So you could have been sent a screenshot with the pay button at the bottom chopped of the screen.I came into this world with nothing and I've got most of it left.1

I wouldn't trust anything a stranger sent until I saw the money in my own account - they could be showing a confirmation page before the payment is sent, it could be photoshopped, etc. Even then be careful to document whatever this payment is for (eg. with receipts if it is for a sale of something) in case they later try to recall the payment as fraud/scam on their end. Don't send anything until payment is received.

Yes definitely an attempt to scam. When asked for a statement they suddenly went quiet0
