Not sure about Renewable Energy, I think there is a bad news story buried there as all the new builds come up for costly maintenance and the original Business Plans start looking as shaky as the science fraud underpinning the whole sector. Pacific region yes, but China I'm not so sure about it's respect for contracts and title (Anyone seen Jack Ma lately?). The Vanguard fund I posted looks heavy in China...

May be you should start investing in tinfoil companies? You know, the stuff you make your wee hats from
Seriously though its probably better to stay away from investing in things you dont understand.

I've just started to look for clean energy, environmentally focused investments to do research on. Preferably fund based investments (and available in an ISA form), but it's proving a little tricky to find any for UK investing.

I did come across the Guinness Sustainable Engery fund which looks rather attractive on first observations:

Any others that people could suggest for dissecting?

Obviously, Nio, Tesla, BYD all hit the headlines because of how well they are doing, but I wouldn't be comfortable enough to put my money in singular investments.

Also electric charging infrastructure companies are of interest too.

Those two companies are among the biggest/best.

Chargepoint is the biggest in the sector. It will have its own listing next month when its merger with the SPAC, SBE, is approved. Worth waiting for although you can buy SBE now but it might be a bumpy ride for a few weeks.

INRG is an obvious green fund contender, and has been flying recently...
