Hi
ive worked for the same company for 28 years 2 months (since I was 18). Originally 8.30-5.30 until I had children. Then hours varied for quite a few years.

I’d say last 10 years I’ve worked everyday but reduced hours (231/2hrs) but Also covered if people were on sick or holiday).
I’m still currently furloughed along with others but some staff back full time.
weve all been advised either by phone or face to face on Wednesday that because of Covid there will be some redundancies. (Not sure if they’ll go into administration or not) Thursday we received letters confirming this.
what is the process now please?
How long have they got till we should be notified who is being made redundant?
is there a legal way to inform you(should it be by letter or phone)?
Do they pay your wages up to the redundant date only?
should they pay you the holidays not taken ( mine are 20 plus bank holidays and only taken 1 day holiday)?
If holidays owed how many paid holidays do they owe me if gone by end of October?
Any other helpful advice and information on what I should or shouldn’t be doing if it’s me that’s been selected?
i just want to make sure they’re doing it by the book and I’m not going to be screwed and make sure I get every penny that is owed to me.

Things will get better day by day.

If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales1

If the company enters administration then your statutory entitlements are guaranteed. You'll get paid one way or the other. Have no fear in that respect.0
