Gift Voucher Error on Seller's Part? Asked to Supplement.

Hi
I've bought a gift voucher for a dine and stay for two at a nice country pub via vouchable/their website. It was £200. I have phoned up to book in for tomorrow night but they informed me that the price has previously increased to £250 and that a delay/error in updating the website has resulted in me being under charged. I'm not happy to pay another £50 as I probably would not have gone ahead for that price (the drinks and other supplementary charges are quite high and for us it would not be worth it).
They've suggested that we use the value of £200 towards a room and food rather than a package deal but I'm also not happy to do this.
They couldn't issue a refund there and then to allow me to book somewhere else so I actually intend on insisting (without being rude or hostile) they provide the 3 course meal and overnight stay for two that is written on the voucher.
Does this seem reasonable?
The whole scenario is already detracting from the experience for me as I literally just want to redeem the voucher, pay for anything extra/not included in the package, and relax.

I think it would depend on whether you bought a gift voucher for £200 or you bought a package for £200 - which do you think it is?0

Then you should have a good case to get what you have purchased.0

I certainly wouldn't pay the extra. It invites low-scruple companies to increase their income by adding costs outside of the agreed price.
The amount you paid at the time of purchase was valid. Their problem if delay in updating the website. And it's either a delay or an error, don't think it can be both, can it? if they knew there were delays/errors then they should have contacted buyers and informed them as soon as possible.
And surely, if they don't want to provide what you purchased at the price you purchased it then they need to refund. They can't have it both ways.
