Halifax clarity 1% cashback targeted

I got an email from Halifax offering 1% cashback on my clarity card between 23 Oct and 23 Nov.

It says this is only for people who receive the email. I had to click a link to activate the offer.

No information was provided about a limit for the cashback. Anyone know if there is a maximum amount?

It will be the same as the Lloyds offer discussed here that already has a thread

To be fair, the other thread doesn't answer this question.

I got the same offer from MBNA and there is no mention in the small print about a limit so I think it's safe to assume there isn't one.

Are these offers definitely only available if you've been emailed? I have credit cards with Lloyds, MBNA, and Halifax and haven't received anything from any of them

I got the same offer from MBNA ...
Me too, on my Horizon card (not available to new applicants).

I already have 0.5% cashback on this card, so the e-mail came as a surprise.  I phoned MBNA (no e-mail possible).  Even though the message addressed me by name and included the last 4 digits of my card number, they claimed the message hadn't come from them. In further discussion they checked and confirmed that my card didn't qualify for this promotion.  Sending it to me was a mistake.

    A reminder e-mail arrived today.  :o:D
