Switching incentives and "new customer"

If I switch to an energy company I've previously been with, say 2 years ago, am I still entitled to a switch incentive if I now return to that company?
In other words, is the incentive for switching , in any case,  or is it for a brand-new customer only to that company?

Usually it is ok to get another refer a friend switch incentive if have left more than 12 Months prior to signing up again from same postal address.
