Look back 12 months and find a bill with an ACTUAL reading on it; now read your meter and do your own sums.
You do read your meter don't you ?Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill0 -
As has been said many times about computers 'Rubbish in = Rubbish out'!

If they really think that you will be using £25K worth of energy a year, then your DD needs to go up to about £2K a month. Not £4k!No free lunch, and no free laptop0

Their bill estimates £1300 of usage. Their DD says £260000 -
Have your smart meters gone dumb? Do your bills show actual or estimated readings?0

I have just been on the web chat and got the amount reduced back to what it was.
I use about £1000 a year. My Direct Debits were £103 a month and I was £126 in credit even with a £70 switch fee) So I was expecting a drop of about £10 a month not an increase from £103 to £219.
Anyway all sorted now.

Get into the habit of reading your meters every month - it can nip issues like this in the bud.Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill0

Even without regular meter readings there is no way the system should issue an estimate of £25K gas use for a domestic property.

What was the issue, a dodgy customer reading?0
