:o
i appreciate every bit of help and support from all of you and i know i will still need some more as it will be the coming to terms with all of this.
i am scared and worried, trying to put on a brave front so my 4 girls don't wonder whats happening. and im hoping that i will be a little relaxed for xmas.. this has been going on for 7 years and they said its a perfect way to now lose the exhusband out of my head forever and start a fresh. this bit i am hoping for.
cheers

    (((hugs))) TC.

That's absolutley brilliant I am so glad you have support through all this. Think of the relief of being debt free and finally rid of all the pain. You will now have a clean, fresh start to 2008.

When the forms come back to you if you have any problems then don't hesitate to ask questions.

  • Fantastic news , and how great that you have someone to take you through
the process and the Court ( pass on a thankyou to them ). It can all seem very scary , but as lots of us have said afterwards ......"it wasnt bad at all , it was actually very easy". My view on kids , tell them whats happening , you may be surprised how supportive they can be too. In my experience kids are happier knowing whats going on rather than find out "the secret" later.

Have a great Xmas and a prosperous (debt free) New Year.:rudolf: :santa2:

TC well done on taking a brave step:T You will feel so much relefe when its over.Sleep better and be a lot less stressed out with your girls.
I agree with 727 tell them whats going on and how things will change (we did) and you you will find all they desire is a happy loving mum who is not making herself ill and will have more time for them now shes not worring about the phone & post.
Tiger is correct as usual we will all help were we can.
Very pleased your getting support from your local debt clinc. There are a lot of these now but not much known about .One opend near were I work ,I was aked to put a poster in my window(,my company will not allow that,) but after I had confirmed they were a charity giving free help & advice I was happy to display it in the customer changing room and staff notice board.
I am affraid their services are going to be much in demand in the coming months.
Big hug for now your doing great:T

  • I have my appointment on that day too!! I have been to see the DR as I am feeling soooo anxious. I am sure all will be fine - it has made me feel better to know someone else will be doing the same thing at around the same time. Good luck and hope you dont find it to hard.

    Hi DD,
please try not to worry ,it is not as bad as you fear, everyone says that and non of us belive it until we have been through it. I was taking prozac for months prior to BR strange but now I dont (could be something to do with the reduction of stress from creditors:rotfl: ) I can cope much better.
Everyone on here was very supportive before ,during & after they will be for you and TC also.
Big hug for now and good look for Monday.

Hi TC - I can understand your worries, I know that we all say it won't be as bad as you think, but there is always that 'underlying' doubt in the mind of anyone who is about to take the life-changing step that you are. For that reason, I am really pleased that you will be getting real support on Monday.
I know that you will be posting after the event and saying 'it was not as bad as I expected' - we all did.
But, in the meantime, try not to worry too much, especially over the weekend, and the very best of luck for Monday.

thanks for words of wisdom, i am scared about it, i'd be lying if i said i wasn't. i have had massive support from you all and the local debt advice and it is appreciated. i think my fear is mainly aimed at the OR, was is he going to ask ect. i know once its over i will feel better. but it's the unknown at present...
