Oven Hot Zone

I'm removing a gas guzzling Aga to replace it with a Gas Range Cooker - its in a bit of an alcove and it means that part of it will be one centimetre within the 75cm 'Hot Zone' as required by gas regs. As only part of the cooker (about a third) will be in this alcove, does that mean it will be non compliant?
