Switching bonus

Hi,
I have started my switch from Santander to HSBC for the advance account and there is £125 for switching. It does state you need 2 Direct Debits for the switch and the account I'm switching from only has 1 Direct Debit. I wanted to know if that will affect the switch bonus or can I simply set up the 2nd Direct Debit after opening the account?

Set up 2 standing orders now. It's 2 so or dd

You need to have the SOs or DDs set up on the account you are switching (ie. before the switch) or else you WILL NOT qualify for the HSBC offer. Get some SOs set up quick smart.

I opened an HSBC Account last year and arranged my 2 direct debits after opening it - didn't have any affect on getting my switching fee.
