British Gas text message
Hi, my dad tried calling British Gas today to discuss increasing his payment, but was on hold for too long as they were busy and he hung up. He then received a text message from number 07378905407 asking for various personal details like name, address, email DOB etc, so they can help, can anyone confirm this is a legitimate BG number and not a scam as my Dad is concerned

You need to contact BG direct on a normal number. Not on what may be a cloned number etc..
