How far before the expiry date do new credit cards usually get sent out in the post? Should be getting a new NatWest one soon. They say it will arrive at least a week before the end of the month that it is due to expire. However, am hoping it comes earlier than that as I am planning a trip away from home and would like to have the new one before I go if possible.
Anyone received their credit card (NatWest or other) earlier in the month than that recently?
Thanks

Don't have any Nat West cards but Barclaycard and Nationwide recently sent me cards a good month before expiry date.1

Typically 2 to 6 weeks before expiry.1

Thanks very much for your replies. NatWest also used to send them out over a month beforehand, but I think last time it was more like 2 or 3 weeks before roughly. Maybe there might be postal delays now too with Covid-19.0

My last credit card was supposedly sent out "standard delivery 3-5 working days" and took around 10.
Debit cards turn up much quicker.0 -
Be patient, it will come when it does.Lost_in_La_Mancha said:Thanks very much for your replies. NatWest also used to send them out over a month beforehand, but I think last time it was more like 2 or 3 weeks before roughly. Maybe there might be postal delays now too with Covid-19.
