Estate agent will not take property off websites - should we proceed?

Whenever I've had an offer accepted it has been conditional on the property coming off the market (to me that is listed as SSTC).
In your situation I imagine the sellers would allow this and it is the Estate Agents leaving as is to generate business (that house is sold but we do have xxx). If you said you would revoke your offer if they didn't list as SSTC I imagine they;d soon agree as would be a difficult explanation to the sellers.
As someone else has suggested, it may be worth getting a friend to call and express an interest and see what they do.0 -
