    THat isnt a defence to the underlying charge

    @nosferatu1001 Thank you. As I did last time this happened, I will be adding the data protection point to my defence, not as the main defence obviously but as a additional point.
    Can anyone advise if it's worth giving bwlegal a call, or is it not recommended at this point?

    It isnt a defence. It does not provide a defence. By definition if there was no reason to obtain your data they did not have reasona ble cause to process. But it has nothing to do with the underlying issue.

    Phone calls never achieve anything useful and are never recommended

    All b w legal require in a phone call are your card details for payment of the outstanding amount , in full !!

    Any requests or objections should be in writing
