Asking Gumtree buyer to pay for delivery

I'm selling a washing machine on Gumtree, in the ad I said collection only but a buyer has asked for me to deliver it and agreed to pay an extra £20. Is it reasonable for me to ask them to pay the £20 first through PayPal? I don't want to risk going through the trouble of delivering it and they're not home or something.

Personally I wouldn’t deliver. Gumtree is meant to be for selling and collecting in person. It’s your personal choice though really.0

Personally I wouldn’t be delivering anything, too many time wasters and nothing to stop them refusing to pay the full amount when you get there.
