Parking ticket nearly 2 years ago

I got a parking ticket at college about a year and 10 months ago. You need a permit at college but as I was in my final year I never got the permit in time. I got a ticket from uk parking control ltd. I ignored this ticket and also ignored any letter I received as I read on here.

I moved house about a year ago and changed my address on my licence as this is all I new you had to do. I didn’t know about the v5c document to be change and a new letter got sent to my mums saying I had 7 days to pay and it’s the final warning or it will effect my credit and I might have to go to court. I can’t find the v5c doc to change my address so I am really worried about leaving this and it getting pulled up. Am I better to just pay the £145 and get it out the way or just ignore as per? The original fine was for £50

It was never a fine.  Did you ignore letters from the court?  You really need to do some reading.

Nine times out of ten these tickets are scams, so consider complaining to your MP, sometimes it can lead to cancellation.,

Parliament is well aware of the MO of these private parking companies, many of whom are former clampers, and on 15th March 2019 a Bill was enacted to curb the excesses of these shysters. Codes of Practice are being drawn up, and darfts have beenopened for publc consulatation,

Just as the clampers were finally closed down, so hopefully will many of these companies, persistent offenders denied access to the DVLA database and unable to operate.

Hopefully life will become impossible for the worst of these scammers, under new legislation but until this is done you should still complain to your MP, citing the new legislation.

Ask a board guide to edit your post, as youve told the whole world who parked despite that being explicitly what NOT to do in the newbies thread
    Then, read the newbies thread
I dont believe being in the final year is the cause for not getting permit in time. That sounds like a crap excuse.
    It was never a fine
No it cannot affect your credit, youre misreading the letter. 7 days means it is debt colelctor garbage, which you know because you have read the newbies thread.
Then contact the bloody DVLA to chaneg your address. They have a method to do this, you are not the first person to mislay your V5. It will have zero effect on the current situation.
