Morning all, it's dry finally and is supposed to last at least til Wed. I can stop the Ark order nowI have been up ages as the Iceland man cometh this morning, only one thing missing- some pate and I can live without that. I have stripped the bed and washed the bedding, it's now on the line and hopefully it will dry enough to put over the airer tonight, don't think it will fully dry as the sun is a bit watery.I have a gammon joint to go into the slow cooker so that will do for tea, but I'm undecided whether to have a jacket potato or oven chips with it.Later I will remake the bed and dust and hoover the bedroom. I must carry on with Barbie's wardrobe too, she has a dress that needs a frill and a skirt to be made to go with the already made top, as her bum's getting rather coldRight enough from me today. Healing vibes to the poorly ones and hugs to anyone in need.bella fingers crossed for the wedding, hope it goes ahead without a hitch.Take care all, stay safe and well.nan xxFailure is simply the opportunity to begin again, but this time more intelligently10

Morning all
Its been non stop rain all weekend, yesterday we got drenched taking the dogs out but it was so nice to come in and take boots and coat off and sit in front of the fire for the afternoon, we had roast lamb which was lovely and so tasty we dont have it too often as its expensive but we really ejnoyed it, there is some left for tonight akthough not as much as we would normally have so I did extra potatoes etc to make up for it.
We will need to walk the dogs later before the rain comes again and I want to look at my morrisons order for thie week and add a few bits.
House needs a quick clean round and there is a wash to hang on the airer.
Have good days all xx9 -
Morning all, we have lovely blue skies at the moment, not sure it'll last though, at least I didnt get soaked dogwalking. My feet did, the grass at our end of the park hasnt been cut for 6 months. Not sure why as other sections have - I think it's been that long they had trouble with the big cutter getting stuck, be better with a hay harvester thingyWe had a bit of a drive yesterday as the car needs to have a good run now and again to keep running well, something techy to do with filters. We headed towards Southport and parked in a quiet spot along the front and just had a walk round the marshy bird watching areas, quite a few watchers out with serious looking binoculars and cameras, we went in the other direction & got very muddy boots,we could hardly see the sea ,it was so far out .Nice to have a change of scene though.I've just been ordering curtains and poles for DSs house, he has the other beds ordered now, & broadband etc booked in. I think we'll need a tip run too once he's moved out, his mattress is shot at, and there are lots of clothes that need chucking. We'll have to decide what to do with the DGC bunk beds, I'm sure a charity will take them though. Please will you all stop talking about custard slices and cakes & other yummy foods lol
I weighed myself at the weekend, once I'd replaced the batteries that have been dud for ages & it wasn't good
, need to have more willpower!
Bella I have everything crossed for the wedding and hope it goes well this time xTake care all x

Hello everyone. It's been a while since I was on here and am currently stuck in quarantine so thought I'd stick my head in. It's been a mixture of brilliant sunshine and overcast rain here in Liverpool. Had a home made spinach and lamb curry for lunch which lifted the spirits a bit and now onto the job search.
I could make it better myself at home. All I need is a small aubergine...
I moved to Liverpool for a better life.
And goodness, it's turned out to be better and busier!11
