Gas & Electric meter locations

I am planning on buying a bungalow and have concerns about the current location of gas & electric meters .
At the moment they are both mounted internally within a small cupboard approximately 300mm of each other . The cupboard is located at low level within an entrance porch . The porch has no specific ventilation other than the letter box in the door .
Is this compliant with gas regulations ?
Any advice appreciated .

Minimum distance between gas pipes and electrical installation equipment is 150mm and 25mm between gas pipes and electric cables. Ventilation is only needed if the gas flow is above 64kW/h - it is very unlikely that a bungalow would consume this much gas. Even a big boiler will only use 35kW/h.
